USA G&L SB-1, figured maple neck, great tone. $520 shipped. SOLD

Older model US made G&L SB-1. Red finish, beautifully figured neck wood. From my brief research it appears this bass is from around '91.

Bass plays and sounds great. Very thumpy and warm. Bass has typical cosmetic signs of use, including some tiny indentations here and there on the back of the neck that were hard to photograph. Sounds super great though, and neck has beautiful figuring. Will ship with flats it's wearing. Don't recall which ones they are.

I bought this thinking I'd sell my USA Fender P bass and have a bass that was just as good and sounded identical for less money. I ended up keeping both though, as the G&L's tone was similar, but was just different enough for both to be useful. Like having a P and a '51 P.

Now I'm unfortunately forced to sell both, as I can't avoid it. Bass will ship with a generic bag.

All items are sold as is, though I do all I can to describe accurately. I have years of perfect feedback on Ebay, and good references here.

Bass is $520 shipped and Paypaled to the lower 48. I will not ship elsewhere, as it is a hassle for me. This isn't a business for me, just selling because I have to. Thanks for understanding.

Get a US made, quality bass for $520.

Great deal. I believe that is an early to mid 80's model.

These are excellent basses and that's a stellar price.

Definitely an early eighties model. In '85 the J-like single coil pup was abandoned for a more traditional P split single coil design. I've owned both and I think these are the best. They were only produced from mid '82 to '84 so you don't see them every day.
