Smooth deal! Not a mark on the 8 either. Real nice for a 20-year-old bass.
And yes, mahogany body with 3-piece maple neck on it.
The trans cherry Chap 6 & 12vers are a lot harder to find. Most were black. So it might be awhile before anyone sees another nice trans cherry 12-string Chaparral for sale again...and since Hamer just closed shop, you can no longer order a new one.
Hamer really does make the best quality U.S. 8- and 12vers with those dual-truss necks. |
