USA Lakland JOBO 5

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a 1 week old Lakland Joe Osborn USA 5 string bass with Nordstrand NJ5SE pickups . Brand New with these pickups the bass would go for around $3000. Everything about this bass is Dead on! Dan built this one perfect, and with the Nordstrands installed it bought a whole new life to this bass. Tone for days.....

This bass is Natural with a black pickguard. Gorgeous Birdseye maple Fretboard. 35 inch scale. Brand New condition.

This bass comes with original tolex LAKLAND case in MINT condition & warranty. Weight is 8.25 lbs!! It will be hard to find a better playing or sounding 5 string jazz than this one.

$2300 SHIPPED

I've never seen a guy who sells more expensive gear faster.

Squid, man, you make me feel like Ebenezer Scrooge

I KNOW THE "iF only" This is a very warm sounding bass not bright by any means.

UNfortunately I have nothing to record with. I put Nordstrand pickups in all of my basses because they are the best IMHO. They have a much warmer tone then the LINDY Fralins and are much more quiet. Ask DRAGONBASS too. These pickups are the best sounding for a really warm vintage tone. I hate bright basses and the tone on this bass is as warm as my Joe Osborn 4 string w/ the same pickups and my 4 is Alder/ rosewood.

Bump for a hot bass that really should be sold by now. I bought the exact 4-string version of this from the Squid last month and love it. I don't like bright basses either (all my other basses are rosewood) but the tone with these pickups is really great.
