For trade for a five string fretless of similar or lesser value

2001 USA Peavey Cirrus for sale. Walnut body, walnut top with maple stringers. Pau Ferro fingerboard, oil finished body and neck. Pretty much a standard US Cirrus bass.

Its in pretty good condition. A little discoloration under the G string from slapping and a couple of indentations (not dents or scratches) from it being oil finished and taken out of its case and played. Frets are good, truss works, electronics are working and not scratchy. Comes with a HSC that's pretty beat up, but works and will protect it during shipping.

Sounds and plays great. I'm selling it because I have two of them and like the other one's lacquer finish (or poly, whatever...) better.

Wow... great price! These USA Cirrus basses are incredible. My 6er is the only thing getting play time from me now, and I'm actually looking to sell a couple others to get a Cirrus 6 fretless. Someone's gonna be happy with this one!

You don't know what you're missing. The PF fingerboards are killer. Lots of snap and definition without the "click-clack" associated with some maple boards.

I second what Riis said... I have that exact model of Cirrus 5, and although some basses come and go with the waves of GAS, that Cirrus 5 will stay put forever. Really.

Alas... timing is everything, and I just received the Elrick NJ5 (you know, the one everybody wants but nobody keeps) from Danny and the stable only holds so many horses. In a round-about way I hope the Elrick will fulfil a backup role for the Cirrus as well as offering some different tonal options. Time will tell, but at this moment it doesn't look like the timing it going go favorably for me to consider this one.

WOW...........NO TAKERS YET? IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED A CIRRUS, YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW NICE THEY PLAY AND SOUND!!! Eventhough I was recently blessed with A Ken Smith Black Tiger 5, my Cirrus is a keeper. I sold a 1983 Alembic Spoiler and a 2001 Thumb 5 BO with EMG 3-band EQ w/variable mid to finance my Smith. That's how special my Cirrus 5 is-IT AIN'T GOIN' NOWHERE!!!!

I'm actually selling this to pay off some debt from a Spector that I ended up trading for a Warwick BO 5. I like the Wick a lot, it sounds great but I have to admit that when I was playing my other Cirrus today it was like driving a sportscar as opposed to the Warwick which is like a dump truck.

Dang. I can't believe this is still here. This is a steal... even with the slap wear... which is pretty minor, really. Usually, the gold hardware is the first to show real wear and tear, and this bass's hardware still looks great. Wow, the economy MUST be slow!

Hell of a deal. I'd pounce if I didn't already have 2 fretted Cirrus 5s (as well as a fretless 5 and 2 fretted 4s)(they're a KILLER bass in case you're wondering).

The string spacing is 17.5mm, and its a little bit adjustable at the bridge.
