USA SB-2 for Trade

Sign in to disble this ad
This beauty was up for sale a few weeks ago, and I pulled it off the block because I really wanted to keep it (the sound is AMAZING) and, thought I, my one problem with it (big hands, small (jazz) neck) would be solved if I bought and installed a #7 replacement neck from G&L. All well and good, except G&L subsequently told me that their production schedule right now (and for the foreseeable future) is such that only folks with warranty issues are able to get replacement necks . And no, I don’t want to try Warmoth or another brand of replacement neck – I want the G&L custom with the black headstock. That puts me back to square one..sorta. If I can find someone (as listed below) looking for a specific trade, I’ll do that .. otherwise, I will probably just keep this baby and suffer a few hand cramps now and then .. I think it’s worth it!

The person I’m looking for loves jazz (1.5” nut width) necks, and also loves the SB-2 sound. This person has one of the following in great shape for trade:

USA SB-2 w/ #7 (1.75” nut width) neck
USA L2K w/ #7 (1.75” nut width) neck
L1505
L1500

PERSON…are you out there? Let me know!

That's kind of ironic, because I would jump on this thing in an instant, but the skinny neck is keeping me away too.

Damn, she haunts me once again. This is indeed an awesome bass. If I could have gotten use to the dotless neck on a dark stage, I would still have this one.

Also interested in:

Cirrus 4 USA

Run other trades by me…who knows? (Trades could also be plus cash in either direction).
