USACG/ALLPARTS JAZZ BASS..read on...this one is special

>>>SOLD.....SOLD.....SOLD<<<
I have been fortunate enough to learn a thing or two from this website about assembling basses. I am very pleased with the results of my last two builds, but alas, how many J basses can you own? (7 at last count) so...

some have to go. I was going to part this bass out, but I figured I would try selling it whole as its really a fantastic build.

-1 piece USACG Swamp Ash body,
-AllParts Maple/Maple blocked & bound neck Tusq nut & tuners
-Sadowsky humbucking pickups,
-Bartolini 3 band preamp (push/pull active passive, pull switch
for mids and frequencies).
-Badass II bridge.
-Dunlop Straplocks
-EMG knobs

Total Bass weighs 8lbs 9oz., by my digital shipping scale. The body is cut from one piece of swamp ash, not glued. The body was finished by a previous owner in 6 coats of Poly wipe. The bass has a great satin finish that really brings out the rustic nature of the wood....(and hides any dings as well) -note two small holes drilled beside bridge for some sort of cover? Don't know never tried to install one...just figured I would mention it.

The Allparts neck has a vintage tint that complements the body quite well. I have no idea what brand the tuners are, but they are of very good quality.

OK, so try and price out this bass with used parts and see what you come up with...go ahead, I will wait....

You done? Good! What did you get? If you got around 850-900 bucks or more, you guessed right! Congrats! (try finding Badass bridges these days, prices are through the roof).

The sound is very full and resonant. The sound has all of the hallmarks of a Swamp Ash/Maple board bass. I was VERY pleased (and suprised) at how well the Sadowsky pickups and Bart pre work together. Punchy and articulate. Definitely recommended...

Anyway, I just want what I put into it. The bass will come with a Roadrunner soft case and will be packed very well. If you have any questions, post them up here or PM me.

Price is 850.00 plus shipping to wherever you are.

BTW, I do not charge a "handling" charge to wiggle extra cash. What it cost to ship, is what you get charged, not a penny more....and PayPal is graciously accepted. Other forms of payment (bits of string, your wife's homecooking, your sister who is of legal age) to be discussed with a PM please.

I will leave this up for a bit, but if I don't have any interest I will begin to part it out in the accesories thread. I am probably not moving on this price, so if you are interested, get it while you can.

I also shot pics outdoors, indoors with natural light, and indoor with flash to give you a really good idea what your getting here.

Oh man, oh man... I'm in the middle of my 7th or 8th build and I would love to have the Pickups and Preamp.
My build started off with a NOS '79 Schecter vintage Jazz neck, never bolted on w/an ebony board. Just snagged a sweet piece of ash for the body. Neck is at the shop getting the frets and edges rolled. And just received the Babicz bridge.
I am planning on Bartolini Pickups and I have an OBP-1 pre in my parts drawer, but would prefer the Sadowsky
PLEASE PM me if you decide to part this out. I'll call first dibs on the electronics now.
Thank you.

It would be a shame to see that parted out. Very beautiful bass!
