Vadim 5 String

Hey Everybody, now this is quite a rare bass, so I thought I would also post it here on Talkbass. It is a handmade bass built by Vadim Rubtsov. ( www.globalbass.com/archives/dec2000/vadim.htm ) Its a great playing and sounding bass and in great condition. No
dings and chips whatsoever. It has recently gotton a professional set up as well. It has a Padauk Body core with Figured Maple top and back. The Neck is made of Padauk and Wenge, Fingerboard is Macassar Ebony. It is a 35 inch scale neck. The electronics are Custom Illitch, and they are: Vol, Pan, Bass, Treble, Low Mids and High Mids. Case is included. A new bass like this from Vadim would cost 4400 Dollars and onwards. I am asking 2600 Euros. I know Vadim. He is very nice and exstreemly passionate about his art.

I have played several of his basses over the years. each one was of the highest craftsmanship, never no issues with consistency in quality, Always balanced well, standing or sitting. Played great and the tone was always killer and something that I look for when I'm checking out any bass and the Vadim's always came in with flying colors and that is versatility. Vadim's talent as a luthier is a great example of an artist who's ancestry and culture is so easily transferred into every bass I have ever played that he has made.

If Vadim could really establish his brand in the states,it would be some pretty sad companies floating around
