Valenti 4. Alder body, pao ferro board. It also has some unique features for a Valenti, including a nitro finish, amber tinted neck, and 7.25" radius fretboard. Re: the finish - as someone who is generally ambivalent about the relic thing, I think it works great on this bass. The relicing on this bass is much more authentic vs the Nash and CS Fender I once owned. The coral color is great, it looks much better in person. Weight is about 8.5 using the "highly accurate" bathroom scale method. It is a light bass by my standards. New hardshell case is include.
Build quality is great -on par with Lull, Sadowsky, Lakland, etc. The neck shape and feel are amazing. Very smooth and fast. The bass is currently set up with passive electronics and SD Antiquity II pickups, but has a control panel and 2 9 volt battery boxes if you want to drop a preamp in it. The bass is well shielded and quiet even with the single coil pups. Tonally, it is probably in the top 4-5 jazz basses I've owned (and I've owned dozens) but I could use the cash. Per Nino, a new bass with the same options would run $1950. I am asking $1200 (firm) plus shipping via eCheck or postal m.o. I am happy to keep it if I cannot get my fair asking price.
Terms of sale:
1. All lowball and trade offers will be ignored.
2. No international shipping. Don't even ask. No 3rd party buyer nonsense either.
3. I will not reply to anyone who asks questions which are answered in the text of the ad.
4. I will not respond to anyone who said "I'll take it." the first time I posted this bass for sale and disappeared, or people who have asked me 10,000 questions then did not have the courtesy to follow up to my detailed reply.
Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I am done messing around. I have 100% positive feedback and have described the bass accurately. Thanks for looking. PM if interested.

I've had the same experience(s) in the past, which is annoying, and which I don't understand. For some reason I'm also peeved by "what's the weight on that" posts. With a custom bass I can understand, but a stock bass... look it up yerself, dammit! Good luck. |

On the whole, I've had very good experiences buying and trading basses on TB but on the last couple deals there have been a lot of tirekickers and flakes. All I ask is that people deal in good faith and are respectful of each others limited time and energy. I am sure this would have been sold if a didn't hold it a couple times waiting for a promised payment.
The pics Nino posted are better than I can take, but I'll try to post some of my own up tonight. The bass is in the same condition and only differs from these pics in that there is a standard control plate with 2 small and one large black plastic jazz knobs. |

| | | | I have gotten so fed up with children sending multiple pm's on gear that I've listed for sale (with no intention of buying) that I am about to list 2 heads, 1 combo, 2 practice amps, a guitar, a bass, and 6 pedals on eBay; the listing fees will be less costly than the aggrevation. Just bought a rackmount from TB yesterday though.
For me TB is best for the specialty gear that can get lost on eBay; like this lovely intrument! |

I pretty much don't hold things for people. Some people get irate about that, but hell if you want to buy it, PAY UP!!! |
