Valenti 5 string fretless

Valenti #041

The fretless conversion was a professional job done by Steve Soest. It's low action, no dead spots on the neck, it mimics a upright sound. Body is Alder, The fretboard is rosewood with an epoxy finish. Nordstrand pickups with either a Sadowsky or Aguilar preamp, your choice. The Sadowsky is currently in there, bought it with the Aguilar. 34 scale length.

I purchased it as a project bass for $1600 and it didn't turn out how I hoped. I was looking for a Jaco tone but it didn't really produce what I was looking for. It has more of an upright sound. With the preamp in there and everything else he almost has 2 grand invested in it.

I'm asking only for 1200.

Here are some pictures. (sorry about the quality)

Got any clips?

What are the weight and string spacing at the bridge?

Thanks!

Any sound clips? I don't I'm sorry .

The spacing is 19mm, and just under 9 pounds.

Talk to me about the low B, and be honest Abe. Is it tight?

The low B is really tight, very similar to a sadowsky.
