I am once again carefully considering making a change with Valenti #51.
Specifications:
- Swamp Ash Body w/Quilted Maple Top
- '59 Burst Finish
- Maple neck w/Maple fretboard
- 1 7/8" @ nut
- 34" Scale
- 12" Radius
- Graphite Reinforced neck
- Sadowsky HCJ5 pickups
- Sadowsky Preamp w/VTC
- Chrome Hardware
- Tortoise Shell, Parchment and Clear pickguard
- Hipshot B Style Bridge
- 19mm String Spacing
- Hipshot UltraLite Tuners
- Three pickguards - clear, tort, and parchment. You get all three.
Excellent condition. Aside from the small nick near the bridge (in the third picture), there's no wear significant enough to mention.
The bass is bright and snappy with rounds. Nice, warm, and thumpy with flats. I have a very new set of Sadowsky blue nickel rounds on it now.
#51 is new enough that Nino was using USACG parts, and the neck is the shallow C profile that he's used except for the first few.
Just under 9 pounds on the bathroom scale.
$1750 shipped to the lower 48 United States.
Possible trades for one of the following, assuming similar condition and cash as appropriate in either direction.
- Sterling 5H
- Stingray Classic 5H
- Modulus Quantum
- Lakland 55-94 or 55-02
- Lakland DJ5
- Ibanez Gary Willis (excepting the GWB35 please)
- Status S2 or Kingbass
