SOLD .... Thanks, Kevdel!
Another bass that it really pains me to have to sell, but unemployment and cash shortages will do that to you (at least they have done a job on me!) I have had this bass since March of 2011, and it cost me more $2,375 at the time. I have a trade offer for it locally, and if I do not get at least $1,625 for it here, I will be accepting that trade. Therefore, I am asking $1,800 $1,625 shipped for this beautiful bass.
This is one of Nino's 24-fret 5-string models, which he just introduced at the beginning of 2011, and it has a narrow 1.75" nut width with 18 mm string spacing at the bridge. Scale length is 34". Pickups and preamp are both by Sadowsky, and it has the Vintage Tone Control, with push/pull active/passive switching. Included in the all-black hardware is Dunlop Straplocks. A TKL semi-hardshell case is also included.
As you can see from the attached photos, this is one absolutely-gorgeous bass, and the sound is as good as its looks! I'm not a slapper, but it has some of the greatest slap tone that you can get from any bass. I took this bass to a Sadowsky dealer, and he commented that this bass has the "Sadowsky vibe" all the way.
In addition to the attached photos, you can see more on the Valenti Basses website and Facebook page (see link below -- it is bass #118).
Thanks for looking -- here's that link .... Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More

1. I don't really play much 5-string bass
2. I'm much more a fan of rosewood or pao fero fretboards than maple boards
3. I definitely will not own a bass that weighs more than 8.5 lbs. (8 lbs. is even better!)
4. If I am going to do a trade involving this bass, a local shop has already made me a fantastic offer of a rosewood-board, 8 lb. bass with Aguilar pickups and an Aggie OBP-3 preamp, so if I do a trade at all, this is likely to be the one that I do.
If you have a really interesting 4-string that has a rosewood or pao fero board, and weighs-in around 8 lbs., that would be about all that I will consider in trade for this bass. |

Just a brief word of caution -- I will be traveling on family business (sick mother, who is hospitalized) from this Saturday, 11/05 until Tues., 11/15. |

Since I have been offered $1,550 in trade (with no shipping expense involved), I will need to get a minimum of that amount plus shipping costs in a straight sale ... let's say $1,625 shipped! |
