Veillette Citron #123 8/79 Brooklyn

Really stunning shape, just a couple nicks on the front and one of those annoying finish splits which is invisible at most angles. The original passive electronics were replaced with an active EMG and there is a very slight route in the cavity for the battery. Comes with a new-ish case w/key and a Levy's leather strap.

$1500 shipped
More pics coming

While it is obvious the holes in the back of the bass were put their purposefully, may I inquire why?

Was that for a belt harness or something?

Those holes were for mounting the original Citron pickup. Talked to Harvey a while back, he said it would be around $100 for him to make a new one for it if I remember correctly.

I seen another citron at GC with those 3 holes in the back also,,, I think you hinted you don't but do you have the original parts?

Sorry, don't have the original pickup or parts associated with mounting it. The 3 holes adjust the height of the pickup from the back IIRC
