NO TRADES PLEASE!
'85 Ibanez Made in Japan RB650 P/J from with factory with DiMarzio pickups. Body was routed for the Kahler bass trem! These trems sold for $200ish new alone and then there was the cost of the routing of the body of the bass (prob $100 - $200).
Most of these old Roadstar II RB650's sell for $200 - $300 without the trem.
BIG PRICE DROP!!!! NOW JUST $205 (plus shipping)!!!!
I was asking $285. See why the price was lowered below.
She plays GREAT! Low action and truly awesome tone. Build quality is amazing. Fairly light (guess 9ish lbs). Electronics work 100% too.
Issues? Some chips and dings. Pickguard is cracked at input jack, so the previous owner put an addl piece of plastic there. Two of the tuners are missing the ferrels (bushings) that go in between the tuner post and the headstock, but they work, the holes are not bored out and ferrels are dirt cheap.
Edit: I just noticed that the G tuner is not original. Front and rear strap buttons don't match. I also did not get the trem bar (lever) with the bass, but the trem is functional (I tried it with an allen wrench on the non-threaded part if the hole for the bar. I'm sure you can get a new bar from Kahler for dirt cheap as well (or grab one on Evil Bay).
Edit #2: I may have some tuners (and ferrels) that will work on this bass. I just remembered that I have a full set of Fender/Squier tuners that I took off my Vintage Modified Jazz a while back. These tuners are new as I took them off the day I bought the bass new. Pretty sure that I still have them. I'll check this eve and if I do, I'll see if they match up with the size of the peg holes. If so, I'll also include the original tuners.
Edit #3:

I was asking $285, but when my friend took the bass and went to enlarge the peg holes to install the new tuners, some of the wood chipped around the holes. Pics posted below (at bottom). Still fully functional and now has brand new tuners and ferrels that work great. Also has new strings now!
