Good heavens! Must...be...strong...:help: |
I believe this was the Boxer series. Basically a pbass with a jazz special neck. Pretty sweet basses. I have one that I am thinking of selling as well. Mine is in nowhere near the condition yours is though. |

Hey FranF, can you confirm the nut width? |
Pretty sure it's standard 1-5/8" |

Okay, home from work and checked the width: 1-5/8" ! It is however, slimmer front to back than my '74 B neck and my '82 Fullerton '57 P "C" neck. Very comfy. |
And to confirm, it IS The Boxer series, whatever the heck that means, introduced in Japan, 1985. Looks like it's a model PB-501? I'll be damned! |
Oops! Should have posted this from the get-go, since I've been asked, and, it's probably the most important thing: THE WEIGHT. Well, non-scientific digital bathroom scale (actually pretty accurate), 7.9 pounds. I'd say 8-ish to be safe. Very very light as Fenders go! |
Bump! |
Nice! |
Thanks! She's a great bass |

Bump.....wonder what this thing sounds like?...mmm |
Sounds terrific! Has that nice fat compressed tight sound heard on a million records. Truth is, I have 6 Precisions, after just trading one away. This beauty needs full time work! |
