This is a mostly 1978 USA Precision from those hard to date years in the late seventies. NOW for sale or trade!

I read through the old thread and checked out the routes and do agree with the other posters, she's a 1980. That is NOT a bad thing at all. I personally think that Fender started to step things up at about that time. Some of the route work prior to 1980 (from mid-70's - 79ish) was pretty damn sloppy on a lot of instruments. It was hit or miss. 1980 was a good year for Fender and a bit of a turning point in terms of build quality.

| | | | FWIW - The sticker in the neck pocket originally was stuck to the underside of the OEM pickguard. It is cool that someone preserved it by putting it there for safekeeping.
