oh, and also, make sure to go to the other thread for all the dating info, let's try to keep this one under 6 pages of info... that's why I relisted this, it was getting to hard for me to try to follow.

thanks! and feel free to shoot me any offers!

Interested in most gear, but especially basses and amps!

Sweet bass. I read through the old thread and checked out the routes and do agree with the other posters, she's a 1980. That is NOT a bad thing at all. I personally think that Fender started to step things up at about that time. Some of the route work prior to 1980 (from mid-70's - 79ish) was pretty damn sloppy on a lot of instruments. It was hit or miss. 1980 was a good year for Fender and a bit of a turning point in terms of build quality.

FWIW - The sticker in the neck pocket originally was stuck to the underside of the OEM pickguard. It is cool that someone preserved it by putting it there for safekeeping.

It's not the original pickguard though. Still very cool to have the sticker though.

I wish I had the cash bump!

If you update your OP to say the original price, you might get more offers. Its about a $750 difference between the two pages.
