Ok, well not REALLY a vintage Fender. But a darn good clone. Very interesting bass. I bought the neck a few years ago on eBay. It's an AllParts (Japan) one-piece maple, 1.5" Jazz width, 10" radius. The previous owner finished it in nitro and applied the Fender decal. I gave it a fret job and rolled the fretboard edges. The body is a 2-piece Alder from USA Custom Guitars. I sprayed it in amber nitro to match the neck.
The nitro finish is very thin on both body & neck, and already shows some honest wear.
The pickguard is a vintage early 70's Fender. It's got that cool red tortoise thing going on.
Pickup is a Seymour Duncan SPB-1. I shielded the bass with copper foil, so it is ultra quiet. CTS 250K pots, Orange Drop tone cap, Switchcraft jack.
Tuners are Gotoh. The nut appears to be synthetic bone. The pics show Labella flats but the bass will ship with D'Addario Pro Steels roundwounds, light gauge. $25 extra if you want the Labellas.
Weight is 8.7 pounds on my bathroom scale.
Price is $800 shipped (US only). No trades.

Serious George Porter Jr action right there. GLWTS.
Hard to see in the pics, but the fretboard is starting to get slightly grungy looking. Play the heck out of this thing and it will look like this in a few years:
