Warmoth Gecko 5 Fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
Warmoth Gecko 5 Fretless for sale. Hard ash body with AAA flame maple top. Tobacco burst finish. Neck is Wenge with purpleheart runners. Fingerboard is select ebony (completely black) and it does NOT have the lizard inlay. The single EMG pickup is selectable between a ceramic humbucker and a single coil alnico. Aguilar OBP-1 preamp. Kahler bridge.

Typical of Warmoth projects, I've got way more invested in parts than I'm asking for it.

$850 includes hard shell case.

I missed this when it was posted. Looks like it would make a nice, unlined fretless for anyone interested in a 35" scale. If not for the last part, it would be right up my alley -- nice ebony board, simple (but interesting) electronics setup. Bump for you.

Sorry, just now saw your question. It's their small neck but it's the same width as my Zon and wider than my Modulus.

This is from the Warmoth site. The string spacing is supposed to be the same as a J-bass on this neck. I'll have to measure when I get home.

•Nut width: 1 7/8" (47.6mm)
•Width at 24th fret: 2 7/8" (73.0mm)
•String pitch @ the bridge: 11/16" (17.5mm)
•Straight 14" (355.60 mm) fingerboard radius
