Warmoth P Bass Sonic Blue/Birdseye $500

Sign in to disble this ad
I've had this for a bit, but have my eye on a few basses here and on the bay. It's a Sonic Blue alder warmoth P body, with a birdseye/birdseye warmoth neck. I steel wool'd the neck down a bit, and it's got a very nice worn in feel now. The pickup is one of those '62 Fender Reissue ones, and the bridge is a standard bent steel one. Hipshot ultralite tuners. The cavities are all copper-shielded. $500 shipped.

I can only guesstimate the weight, maybe around 9 lbs. It's a Jazz neck, so 1.5'' nut width. I'm sure there's something I'd be interesting in trading for, but nothing springs to mind.

Nice bass, sweet neck and a P with a narrow-width neck gets a bump.

Poly from Warmoth on the finish, and the truss rod is a hex at the heel. The body has the route for easy adjustment, but the pickguard does not.

Back up for sale/trades, though the nut did get a chip taken out of it this week. On the E string side, string still has plenty to sit in, but a ~2mm square chunk is gone. This is mostly cause I put some thick flats on it.
