Warrior DM6 - Beautiful Buckeye Burl

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought this to hold me over while my Warrior 5 was being built and it’s shipping next week, so I’m making this available. This is my latest 6 string fling, and it’s a beautiful, great playing and sounding instrument, but a 6 will never be my main player. I’ll buy one every now and then, have a little fun with it, and then move it along. Warriors, IMO, are the best playing basses out there, and this one is no exception. Also, the top on this one is absolutely incredible.

Specs are:

• Warrior Dran Michael 6
• Alder Body Wings
• Beautiful Buckeye Burl Top
• Mahogany/Flamed Maple/Purpleheart/Flamed Maple/Mahogany Neck
• Purpleheart Fretboard
• Matching Buckeye Burl Headstock
• Matching Buckeye Burl Knobs
• Bartolini M56 Soapbar Pickups
• Bartolini/Warrior 3 Band EQ with Adjustable Mid Frequency Switch
• 18.3mm spacing (adjustable), 34” scale, 24 frets
• 9 lbs
• Warrior Dran Michael Case with Case Candy from Warrior

Terms:

Will sell outright for $2900 via a no-fee transaction if possible (eCheck, Bank Wire, Money Order, or Personal Check – will need to clear). $2900 is an outright sale price (Dave Ramsey and I would both prefer this); trade value I will consider to be higher ($3200). Some trades listed will be +/- cash. If it’s not on my list, there’s a really good chance that I’ll say no, but I know they’re coming anyway.

What I WOULD trade for: MTD 535 (ash or alder preferred), Fodera Standard, Zon Sonus 5, or TJ5.

What I MIGHT trade for (5 string): Ken Smith, Roscoe LG/SKB, Alleva-Coppolo, CT No-frills, Fodera, Rob Allen, Sadowsky, Skjold, Tobias, or Jerzy Drozd.

What I MIGHT trade for (4 string): EBMM SR or Sterling, Fender Roadworn Jazz (sunburst), vintage MusicMan, Alleva-Coppolo, CT, Fodera, or Sadowsky.

And finally, pictures:

Thumbs up

Bump for a classy Tb'er and one fine looking Warrior 6!

Wish I had the means to give it a try Jason. Truth is I've got one to many 6'ers myself.

Good luck with the trade/sale!

Thanks for all the positive comments, I appreciate it. Anyone in the market for a Warrior 6 string will be hard pressed to find a nicer one for sale. This one has it all.

Where the small knot in the lower horn is. Is it smooth or is there a void in the wood?

It's smooth. Either the lighting, the angle, or both make it look otherwise.
