Warwick 2006 LTD Thumb BO "Dirty Blonde" (Trade Feeler)

Sign in to disble this ad
So as BADLY as I GAS'ed for this lovely lady... I picked-up a Roscoe in a recent trade and have been unable to put it down!!! I can't tell what it is about the Roscoe: aftermarket Aguilar 18volt preamp, or the Bartolini soap bars.. or what, but all I know is the Dirty Blonde is just sitting pretty on my wall... while I love its work of art beauty, I can't in good conscious let it go unplayed.

I picked it up used, and it is in played condition. Definitely could use a quality set up and a new set of strings. I don't "need" a new guitar, but I like to keep my options open and try new things. Let me know what you have and we can discuss a trade. I am in no hurry so please don't think I'm going to just let her go to just anybody.

Trade interests include:
-German made Warwick NT's, 5'ers (maybe even 6'ers), LTD's, almost anything pre-'99, 18volt preamps (however, NO Corvettes)
-Roscoes of all kinds!!! My LG-3000 Spalted Maple 4-banger really won me over, and I'd like to give the 5'ers a try.
-Tube Amplifiers. While I love my SVT-Classic I am always open to try new flavors (even vintage). Oranges have my attention currently.
-Others, currently escaping me, will be considered. Worst I will say is "No thanks!" but do try and keep the values close because I'd like for not a lot of cash to be shelled out on either end.

Here are some picture:

I do apologize for the crappy cell phone shots. Quality photos can be gathered for serious offers. Thanks in advance!!!

Not currently. Sorry my man, I know these have been going for a cash price that is a lot less than I value, which is why I'd rather see what kinda "equivalent exchange" can be made. If I reconsider you will be the first to know!

By chance...would you be interested in a streamer jazzman 5?

There's a local guy selling a pristine one and I might pick it up if you're interested

Bump for a another beautiful blonde!
I own one of these " Dirty Blonde" 2006 limited edt. Wicks.
I gotta say I cannot see myself ever letting it go..
It is so different than my other basses.
Such HUGE tone out of such a tiny body.
So refreshing after hoisting a 10LB Stingray off my shoulder!
And the look of it is amazing!
I like this the best out of all the Blonde Series Ltd. Edt. Wicks hands down.
Truly a German work of Art!
Good luck finding the trades your after!!

The chrome bass? Not custom shop, but is just as sweet! '04 Streamer CT or "Chrome Tone". It isn't up on the block, but I might be persuaded for a KILLER offer... maybe. ;-)
