Warwick 5-string Jazzman FNA - Fancy woods, MM-Style Humbucker + single coil

TRADED TRADED TRADED TRADED - I'll leave the photos up for your viewing pleasure.

Hi-

Scroll down to see photos of this lovely bass. The condition is excellent, with only a few very small imperfections. The only notable flaw is a small "belt buckle" scratch on the back. The frets show almost no wear. Warwick doesn't call this model the Corvette, but it is clearly the Corvette shape.

Swamp Ash body with Flamed Maple top
Ovangkol neck
Wenge fingerboard
Scale length: 34" (long scale)
24 frets
Passive MEC J/MM pickups with open pole pieces
Active MEC 3-way electronics
Gold Warwick tuners with tension adjustment
Gold 2-piece Warwick bridge
Warwick security locks
Just-A-Nut III (adjustable nut)
Cool control cover that snaps off easily
Easy access truss rod cover plate

This bass is set up with low action and plays very well. The two styles of pickups, 3-band EQ, and switching make it very versatile. The controls are Vol/pickup-pan stack, Treble, Mid, and Bass. The Vol pot can be pulled for passive mode. The three position switch works as follows:

UP: bridge pickup humbucking, routed in series with the neck pickup
MIDDLE: bridge pickup is single-coil routed as hum-canceling with the neck pickup
DOWN: bridge pickup humbucking routed in parallel with the neck pickup

The bass weighs 8lbs-13oz on my postal scale. The neck is typical chunky Warwick, which I like, but might not be for everyone.

The included Warwick bag, care kit, and manual have never been out of my smoke-free home studio. The care kit includes a nice truss rod tool, unused polishing cloth, beeswax, and a nice pouch for extra strings, etc. The bag is really nice, wit multiple pockets and backpack-style straps that zip into the back of the bag.

Check out my feedback. I pack things well and ship quickly. PM or post any questions here in the thread. Bumps are appreciated.

This model retails in the $3000 range. I'm asking $1,050 including shipping in the continental US, which I think is a good price for this bass. I'm not really interested in trades at this time, but if you want to run something by me, please do so by PM. PayPal or other forms of payment are fine with me.

I can vouch for these basses, I have an identical one and it's an incredible instrument. Records like a champ with an extremely powerful sound that sits perfectly in a mix without overpowering it. Someone's getting a great bass at a real nice price.

BTW, this model is discontinued, so the only way to get is the used market.

Nice Bass folks. I was going to sell the one I have, but just can't quite part with it. Really versatile instrument: 3 position switch toggles between single coil and humbucking pup configurations. Active/passive option, great tone, sets up well.

I can't believe this thing is still here. When I think about how great mine is and how much I've used it on... these things are just such great basses.
