Warwick Bleached Blonde Thumb REDUCED PRICE

Sign in to disble this ad
Someone skidded on the ice last night and used my car to stop. Then they left! In order to pay for the damages, I need to sell some gear.

Here's my LTD 2003 Bleached Blonde Thumb B/O 4 string with chrome hardware. Ser # (3/222, number 222 not number 3). 8.5/10 in overall condition with a few dings. The neck has a nice gloss built up over it, the frets are nearly perfect. Strap buttons are not original. Comes with the flight case and all the paperwork.

$1,000 PLUS shipping. Help a brother out.

How about this...

Would you take 900 if I came to get it?

I appreciate the offer but no, price is firm. Worst case scenario is I just keep it!

If you're interested enough to travel to pick it up, just pay the full price, you'll be glad you did!

Still available. Will consider trades plus cash. Not just guitars but bass heads too. I could use a solid back up.

Any dings on the back of the neck, and would you ship to Canada via USPS? Also, what are you looking at in terms of 'form of payment'?

Wow that Thumb is gorgeous. The grain is amazing on it. Unfortunately I need either a bass head and cash, or just the cash. I can only ship within the US. I've had bad experiences with international sales before and really want to avoid them.

Bumping this one for ya. These are great Thumbs. Much lighter than the standard exotic wood ones, and still great Warwick tone.

What part of Philadelphia do you live? I'm looking for a 4 string to replace my Marcus miller with and I love my thumb 5. I've read reviews that these basses don't really sound like thumbs do you find this to be corect? is the neck unfinished maple? tHanks.

I find this to sound NOTHING like any Thumb I've ever heard. It's light as a feather, and really varies with tone depending on where you put your fingers. I.E. playing towards the bridge sounds completely different than playing towards the neck, regardless of which pickup configuration you use.
The neck is...well...it came unfinished (satin) however it has been played quite a bit and a natural gloss has built up from the 1st fret down to about the 9th. Everything on this bass with the exception of the back is flamed maple, and a VERY good flame. Pictures don't do it justice.
