Warwick Corvette $$5 string

Going to sell my made in Germany Warwick Corvette 5. It's a 2008. Has a few dings, but overall a great bass. My band doesn't want to see it go, they love the sound of it. This thing is super powerful. Way more output and growl than any of my other basses. It's currently strung with Chromes. I'm just going to stick with my Stingray Classic. The case has some wear, but does the job just fine. Of course it has the straplocks on it. $1050 shipped to the lower 48. Canada is ok if the buyer pays the extra shipping. Last pic is me playing it at my bands show, 2 weeks ago. As far as references, I have like 15 or so good deals on sevenstring.org under the same name. Paypal is the way to go for payment. Possible trades would be a really nice 4 string.

I have the 2006 of this bass.....it's my main player....versatile as hell....so many "states" you can set up among the phasing switches, passive/active, eq when active, pickup balance. It's got a bomp to it that I just don't get from other basses. That's what keeps me choosing it for gigs.

Last possible price drop. After looking around, I figured I should lower my price a tad. $1050 shipped to lower 48 is the lowest I will go. After that, I'll just keep it and eventually get used to the string spacing. I already love the sound and looks of it. I am kind of missing my SR though. Since I got the Warwick, my SR Classic has been sitting. I'm just more comfortable on the Stingray, so I'm going back to it.

Wow I didn't know my bass was worth so much. I have the exact same bass year and all and I was going to sell it for $700 but I am sure glad I saw this first. I love my Warwick but I think I would be better served with a mm stingray five for modern sounding jazz. Any suggestions would be great. good luck selling the Wick.

Well that's your fault for valuing a 4 year old $2499 bass at 700. Not mine. I'm not desperate. I'll keep it and gladly get used to the string spacing. It sounds amazing. A Warwick $$ is crazy growly and powerful. It is very versatile with the passive/active/series switches. I'm sure it can pull off a Jazz sound, but I'd use it for more aggressive sounds.

I am interested in the neck profile also........is it thinner like a jazz or ray or is it thicker in the profile from center of fingerboard to center of back of neck? Thanks in advance

For me it's hard to describe. It's thinner rhan my Stingray Classic, but thicker than an Ibby SR for sure.

Isnt the string spacing on a Warwick bridge somewhat adjustable anyway?

It's the front to back thickness that is most important...a lot of necks have been like tree trunks...hope this one's not

When your right your right..you are right about the value of the mig corvette it is worth a little more. It will not sound like a jazz and the string spacing is adjustable as is the nut height. The mec electronics are ok but a 3 band Aguilar sounds very good in this bass. I did trade straight across for a Stingray 5 which also has it's own voice not like a jazz. I will be buying a Streamer stage II soon,,, as I love Warwicks,,, but the $$ is really a hard rock sound and not suited for my style. Good luck

I've heard that, but it didn't look all too adjustable to me.

No, definitely not that thick. Like I said, my Stingray is thicker.

And now, it's off to it's new home in New York and a Fender MIA FSR hand stained ash Jazz is coming to me.

The Warwick 2-piece 3D bridge is adjustable for string string height, intonation, and string spacing. Also the entire bridge can be raised or lowered as a whole. Thanks!
