Warwick Corvette 4 - Thin wenge neck, brass nut, German, marble finish, light weight! Price: $700 shipped, but primarily looking to trade for a Warwick 5 (maybe 6) string. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD She's a beauty. This is the thinner profile of the wenge neck, I had another one with a wenge neck that was substantially thicker. Original brass adjustable nut. Wenge fretboard and bell brass frets, which are in good shape. Body is ash, and is a LOT lighter than the bubinga Corvette I owned. Easy access truss rod cover and control cavity cover. Passive, volume/blend/tone. Recessed Dunlop strap locks. And a super-sexy and rare marble finish. Comes with the original truss rod tool and gig bag. The bass is in great shape, but the bag isn't. EDIT: Serial # indicates 1996, 34" scale length. |
that's pretty cool |
Sweet Wick! |
Nice lookin bass, love the marble finish. if I didn't allready own a $$ Corvette,a Thumb bo, and a Fortress...I'd snag it up for sure.Warwicks are the best in my book!! |
That's a cool Warwick right there. |
That is an amazing finish. Only bass I ever saw with a finish like that before was a Ritter. Bump for a sweet looking axe!!! |
I love that finish. Are there imperfections or damage to the finish anywhere? I have seen this bass once and thought it was pretty cool. Different for sure. |
Bump for a gorgeous finish. Never seen anything like it. |
Beautiful! What year is it? |

All PM's returned (I think!) Regarding weight, I don't have an accurate way to measure it. Measured on an old, analog, innacurate scale, it looks like the bass is about 10lbs. It doesn't feel quite that heavy though so I'm not sure. I've never played another ash-bodied warwick, but this one is substantially lighter than any bubinga or ovangkol body warwick I've ever played. Hope that helps. |
SOLD!!!!!! Thanks folks. |
