I picked this bass up as my first fretless, and then actually picked up a second, identical fretless Corvette shortly thereafter. They both sounded and played great, but I really liked the figuring on the bubinga on this one, so I kept it. Now, however, I have a Skjold Exotic Custom Fretless 5 which should be finished before too long. And in all likelihood, once I get the Skjold, this one won't get played too much. So, here it is, though unfortunately, the sun was a bit too bright that day, and the pictures are a little washed out:
It has flatwounds on it, and as far as I can tell, it always has. No issues, and in great shape. I have no problems with this bass whatsoever, and I really think that Corvette Standards are a great bang for the buck bass. But man, my basement is CRAMPED!
It comes with a Warwick hardshell case.
Thank you for your interest.
THIS BASS HAS BEEN SOLD.
