Warwick Fortress Masterman with Hard Case

For sale is a beautiful 1997 Warwick Fortress Master Man bass in a red colored oil finish. The body of this 4 string bass is 2 book matched flamed maple pieces and the neck is a 3 piece Wenge neck with Wenge fretboard, these necks are incredibly sought after by Warwick fans for the look, tone, and for being much slimmer than newer Warwick necks. It has a brass just a nut 1 jan I. It features a MEC twin jazz pickup onboard preamp for each part of the twin jazz. It comes with a user manual and the truss rod adjustment tool. It is in excellent overall condition with a slight fade on one part above the bridge. This bass was made in germany. It has all gold hardware and has inset gold Dunlop strap lock pins. This bass is a slap machine and has more growl than almost any bass I've played including my NT thumb bass. Please let me know if you have any questions. This bass is extremely rare and they do not pop up frequently. I am interested in trades for other Warwick gear or an outright sale. I would love a Streamer stage 1 or 2 ss1 ss2 or Dolphin. The older the better. I really would prefer a late 80's model but let me know what you have. A sale will simply goes towards a NT streamer or dolphin. Lookin for 4 string trade o partial trade. This odd mark is only visible from a top angle. It hangs on my wall and I can never see it until I pick it up. As you can see in all the other pics it is not easy to spot.

Anyone interested at all? I played is bass today alot and it kills! I really am looking for a nt vintage wick though. Just dying for a dolphin or streamer. Lt me know if at all interested in this. It's an incredible bass

The fortress series are killer. I have one, my first real bass, from the early 90s and they are soo punchy. Growl for days. I couldn't imagine the growl off this single sweet spot p'up position fortress. Very underrated basses.

Is there a Truss Rod Cover?

If so, does it say Masterman or Fortress ONE?

I have the outer part but not the insert. So neither fortress one or Masterman. It can be had from the NY shop for $50 but it wasn't worth it to me. This thing plays incredible well and is super punchy. Thanks guys
