Warwick Nobby, excellent tone/shape

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a very good condition bass, 1985, sounds like a Warwick and has a slightly larger body than most stick basses, has the full scale range 34", deep stable E string sound. This is one of the best sounding light small stick type basses.

I have too many basses and this is the one that's on the block.

Price drop 1500$

Shipped to fellow TB'ers. I have it on ebay, but a little higher price due to their fees etc. No trades.

Thank you

Tom

Some other things: Warwick still sells the bow and the stand for it.
So if you want those items, you can still get them.

The knobs are in excellent shape and have metered ticks for all 3 knobs, makes it really nice. You will not be disappointed with the instrument. Really rare also. New ones are still made but cost 3000$+.

Get this for about 1/2 that.

Thick heavy tone for a small stick bass.
No lugging or having a heavy 8-12lb bass sucker on your neck for 3-4 hours........

Price drop 1500$ firm includes shipping.

Nice bass, still available.

Excellent to have if you also like Steiny's L2's, different sound, but still that awesome flavor.

Danny(another TB'er) stopped by to pick up another bass, but I showed him this, he was drooling. Selling his kids was another option, but.......

So this gives an idea of what the instrument is like to a couple of folks that have played a while. Double thumb, slap, tap, finger.......it's got the deep bottom end, unlike most stick type basses, really nice construction, could defend yourself with it, no oxidation on the brass hardware.

I'd like to sell it to him, maybe in a bit he'll come up with the $, but till then, it's available. I have nothing but nice things to state about it..... but I have a 5 bass limit.

Haha, that's true!

Bump for a great guy to deal with!
If I had the cash I would buy it in a heart-beat, this thing is a slapping/tapping machine and the action is super low...... Dang, I'll see what I can sell!
Sometimes I wish I was rich instead of handsome!

Having played the status graphite, this bass is better.

The best stick style bass of them all thus far.
