Just to avoid any confusion, the bass pictured is a "Warwick $$ (double buck) Bubinga Neck-through," with Bubinga wings, and Maple neck. (Wengé fretboard, assuming.) Whereas the Corvette Pro Lines had AA Flamed Maple bodies, with Ovangkol bolt-on necks and Wengé fretboards. (Or Ash body with Maple or Wengé necks, pending on year.) Pro Lines ceased production several years ago, but are still available through the custom shop.

Right. "Pro line" vs "Pro Line". One is a general descriptor, while the other is a specific model of Warwick. I'm guessing it was simply an unfortunate coincidence with word choice.

Lightbulb

yeah tyler d, that's right. this is not the proline series (maple etc.) my bad thanks for clarifying. your description is way better than mine! It is a $$ series corvette. I just meant that it isnt something you find at guitar center. there are other lines of $$ corvette in much lower price ranges and I didnt realize that there was actually a warwick proline series with other features. These are close to 3K new.
thanks again!
