Warwick Streamer Stage II P-Nut limited edition.

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought this bass from the guys at bass central about 6 months ago in my quest for a 5 string. It is in 100% new condition as I've only played it a few times and it has never left my house. It's #22 in a very limited production of only 51 and does come with all tags, papers, Certificate of Auth. signed by P-Nut, and tool kit. The only reason I'm selling it is I just bought A Jerzy Drozd Mastery V and I like the wider string spacing on it versus the Warwick. I paid $3500 for it but I am willing to take $3000. Please PM me if you would like more pictures as a I have quite a few and I can say that the pictures Warwick used on their web site must have been of a prototype because the look and feel of these completed basses are a lot better. The french walnut is gorgeous and the power from these MEC pups is awesome! Came with a gig bag but I picked up a hard case from SKB that is not a bad fit and I'll include if interested. I'm not interested in a trade though I welcome all questions.
Thanks

Just wanted to pipe in here to say that Jeff is a great guy. I got to play this bass and it really suprised me, only because I normally don't like the new Warwick's. This one is a real player though and sounds great.

Thanks for the endorsement Andy. Swing by some time and check out the Jerzy.

Here are a few more pictures.

How does the tone compare to a standard Streamer Stage II?

Not sure it's the only Warwick I've ever had. I do like how the brass frets sound and it is one of the most powerful basses I've ever played (The MEC pick-ups are really strong).
Hope that helps.

From what I remember, there wasn't much similarity. The Stage II had a more Hi-Fi/clear modern thing going on, and the P-Nut was a bit darker sounding, but the there were more interesting tones that you could get because of the pickup configuration.

The P-Nut was my second favorite sounding "new" Warwick at NAAM, second only to the $$ (Double-Buck) which really suprised me tonally.

Bump for a sweet bass!
