Warwick Thumb Bolt-on BO 5 String - Excellent Condition, Many Photos

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!

This is truly a great bass with unbelievable tone and versatility. Why am I selling it? Once again, a failed attempt to learn to play 5 string. If this one was a 4 string, I'd keep it. It's balanced really well (unlike other Thumbs) and the neck is great. I weighs 8 lbs. The neck width at the nut is 1.75 inches. It's very easy to play and barely takes any effort to pull out some great tones. The body and neck are both Ovangkol. The wood grain is gorgeous. Everything on the bass is original and really well taken care of. Frets are perfect. Action is nice and low. I couldn't find more than three minor scratches on the surface. There's a small mark near the input jack that I couldn't get the camera to reproduce. It has MEC pickups and the knobs are volume, balance, treble/bass. It's very loud, clean and woody sounding. It comes with the Warwick gig bag (which has like 100 pockets. Kidding, but there are a lot of pockets) and most of the case candy. I think the only things missing are the 2 hex keys, otherwise it's all there including the Warwick finish wax. I'm asking $1200 with free shipping to the 48 states. Sorry about the huge photos, I just want to show the detail.

Exactly. Using a neoprene strap has helped a lot.

Thanks for the compliments on the photos, papa justice.
