I have looked and looked and can't find word one on WEST basses.
I am assuming these were either made in Japan, America, or even England. It seems to be one of those Fender knock offs that were produced back in the day of the '70's or '80's
Either way, Fender parts fit perfectly on this bass. Same neck joint size, tuners, etc. A perfect match.
Neck is a "B" neck. A lot of meat to hold onto and groove.
It has WEST maple neck, WEST body, Switchcraft input jack, chicklet capacitor, Fender bridge, Fender pickguard, Fender PUP's made in Japan, Allparts 250k pots, WEST tuners.
Nails the Van Halen 1 tone, Motown, etc...
New strings and set up. Super low action, no fretnoise, easy to play, vintage warm tone. Super low action !!!!

I keep thinking I will find a nicer Pbass and I just can't. This E string NAILS Van Halen Running With the Devil to a tee with ever so slightly overdriven growl we all know and love.
