Hate to do it, but I need to sell off a bass due to redundancy. Yes, redundancy.
This is a late 80s (88 or 89) Westone Genesis Anniversary edition bass that's in great condition overall, with only a few chips and dings (headstock, strap button area). Plays and sounds fantastic and looks great as well, thanks to the wood grain. All original parts, save for new knobs and strap buttons that I installed.
I like the looks/style of this bass best out of all of the Westones that I've seen because it doesn't necessarily look like an "80s bass". The 2+2 headstock is especially cool.
The controls are as such:
Master Volume Knob
Neck pickup tone knob
Bridge pickup tone knob
pickup selector switch.
The thing I like most about this bass, tone-wise, is that is has a nice midrange presence in all pickup positions, allowing it to set very well in the mix.
Comes with tattered (but functional) gig bag and brand new Ernie Ball strings.
Letting it go for
$250.00 shipped to the lower 48 states.
The only trades I'll consider are (non SX/Brice type stuff):
- fretless
- Good 6-string or Conklin GT7 (+ cash on my part)
