This may look like any other Squier P, but it's something a little different. What we have here is a Squier Vintage Modified Precision body mated with a 1998 Squier neck.
The neck is the interesting bit. It was from the run of Squiers made in Mexico and is a cut above your average Squier neck. I have an American Standard Jazz from the same year and the feel is very similar. Fast and slim for a Precision.
This is a player, and not mint by any stretch of the imagination. The pickguard shows regular playing wear. The Body has a few marks around the edges and one finish scratch between the bridge and guard that I couldn't get to photograph, but it's there. The finish on the neck has been reworked by me around the edges to a nice smooth (glossy) finish.
Loaded with the Duncan pup, cloth wiring, and an orange drop cap for fun, it sounds just like a P should.
And like I said, I tried to get a photo of the scratch
I'm asking
$180SOLD for this, shipped in the ConUS.
The only trade I'm interested in is for an Epiphone Dot.
