SOLD
Ok, I could have gone with one of the cliché intros:
"I hate to do this, but I got too many basses... this one is not getting much attention... my wife says one in, one out... just got a new bass and need the money... bills to pay...before I change my mind..."
because they are all happening to me at the same time. That's why I just could not pick one over the other. We all have our reasons to sell our basses, don't we?
While you're probably not really interested in why I am selling this bass, I hope you get interested in buying it. This is my second attempt to sell something at TalkBass. The first one was a Variax that did not draw much attention.
Here's a white Yamaha RBX4-A2 with the Original Hardshell Case. There has been several of those sold and purchased through TB so I will just copy the specs to save you the trouble of searching:
Lightweight construction yet heavy, sustaining tone.
The RBX4 A2 defies the conventional wisdom that the more uniform and heavy the material, the better the sound. Yamaha has challenged this concept with an advanced technology called Alternative Internal Resonance, or AIR. AIR combines lightweight and resonant softwoods between harder tonewoods creating an instrument loaded with sustain and tone while maintaining an ultra lightweight construction. Already proven in the RGX line, Yamaha now offers this sustain and tone in the RBX line with the RBX4 A2 bass guitar.
Yamaha RBX4 A2 Super-Light Electric Bass Guitar Features:
Bolt-on construction
AIR body
Maple neck
Rosewood fingerboard
24 frets
34" scale
10-5/8" radius
Die-cast bridge
2 Y.A.S.H. custom shop designed single coil pickups
Front volume, rear volume, master tone controls (LED lit pickup indicator and selector)
Killer sound without killing your shoulder.

(Thanks Ed for helping sell one more of these in TalkBass - dang, I should not have watched this video again)
[Pictures deleted after the bass was sold]
It has a couple of dings in the headstock, that were there before I got it, shown in the pictures. This was not purchased from a TBer.
All lights work. Play great, sounds great, light weight is a blessing for long gigs and rehearsals. It was professionally set up a month ago at Bass Emporium, in Austin, and fresh DR SunBeams put in it.
It comes with the original Yamaha case, made in US, in pretty good shape. That alone is worth $130 new.
I want
$350 for it, shipped CONUS. Paypal only, or cash if local (Austin, TX).
Now for sale only. Looking forward to hear from you.
