Wishbass # 1109 FS only

Really hate to do this . THE ONLY reason I am selling this bass is to buy parts to finish the bass I'm building. # 1109 up for sale. I bought this bass new. Had Mr W make it. Cost me $550 shipped in the white ( unfinished ) and had to shape and sand the heck out of it. Finished it with Trueoil. Neck is still QUITE FAT so I think it is still the same Wish neck that you don't have to worry about moving. It has no truss rod.
Also, the bridge was right up against the pup when I got it so I actually moved the bridge, and nut down 3/4 " so there is room to adjust the bridge. I had to move the side dots as well. They came out ok but not perfectly straight. ( they were not straight when I got it either ) but they are in the right positions. they are brass nails like the steel ones Mr W uses.
The neck is Yellowheart/purpleheart with maple center and yellowheart wings. Purpleheart fingerboard which has 39 positions. It plays very well and has the best fretless tone I ever got out of a bass. Classic. Super mwah.

Has rounds on it now. Had David King make the yellowheart knob. Kent Armstrong pup. Hot and fat. I made the PH nut and bridge. also re-routed the strings to go thru bottom of bass, not back. to lessen angle on strings. moved strap buttons for awsome balance. cost me $550, selling for $ 400 shipped conus. Firm. Thanks for looking.

That has to be so awkward to play. I'd love to try it though. Did you install the pup?

I dont get it. it's balanced very well and the finger board can be used like a ramp or like some play uprights. its very comfortable to play.

ok ok....$ 300 plus shipping . c'mon ! That's it ! Will not go any lower. This bass is Sooooooo worth $ 300. Just played it and it still has no dead spot anywhere and the neck has not moved at all and it is about 99.99% humidity here in nj right now. so if the no truss rod thing has you worried, no need. it is very stable. and the finger board is super nice. no bad notes the entire 39 positions.

thats all, thanks
