Wishbass flying Vee style bass. Insane.
Wishbass Vee photo gallery here.
34” scale
fretless.
String through.
EMG Select passive pickup
movable corian bridge, intonates fine with the corian.
Made from an astonishing assortment of different woods, with maple, purpleheart, pau darco (fingerboard, I believe), and other woods making an appearance.
Fingerboard is smooth and hard, slight bevel on edges, slight radius (cannot be much).
Body finished in light spray gloss, imperfect in places (typical for these). Needs a good progressive sanding and polishing, and the body or neck could be sanded to thin out curves if necessary.
Neck very playable.
Width 1” & 13/16 at nut, 2” & 13/16 at end of fingerboard.
Fingerboard 26” 1/4 long.
Front to back, neck 1” in most places. A nice curve drops the width to under 1” from the headstock by first position.
Excellent candidate for projects, high-end refinish. Sounds Unbelievable. The mwah of an upright, rumbly, sustainey, and bitey/grindy if you add a preamp or a pedal.
Relatively slim Wishbass neck. 44” headstock to end-button.
Wings extend 10” beyond. ~ 11.5lbs
