WTT 1985 Fender MIJ Jazz Bass Special

Yeah, it says Jazz bass but the body is a P-Bass and the neck is a Jazz neck. Fender Jazz Bass Special. This is the way they were built. P/J, V,V,TBX tone control. 3-way pickup selector. Very lightweight. All stock. It weighs 7.5lbs! Not sure of the color. Some say it is Champagne or Burgundy Mist. The bass has a lot of mojo. Some dings are into the wood but if you dig mojo and relicing and are a rocker, this is the bass for you. I received this bass in a trade but it's not quite my thing. I put some new Fender 8520 strings on her a few weeks back. Nice Fender HSC included.

Trades I'm looking for are MIM Jazz bass or a nice 1x10, or 1x12 speaker cab. Not looking to sell but if I put a money value on it, it would be around $425-$475! I'll consider other trade offers as well.

C'mon, somebody wants this! Entertaining all trade offers! What ya got? More pics. The screws holding the controls cover are not rusted. They are painted a brownish color. I thought they were rusted when I first looked.

I actually went to both after MenchVille got tired of my "Spirited Nature". And Denbigh has a Much Better music program. But that was back in '74 / '75...

Denbigh has a pretty good music program and a really good music teacher now (killer trumpet player as well). He's brought that program back from the brink! My son plays sax but only socially to hang with the band. He doesn't practice at all! Not sure how he does it! Here's a video of their final jazz band performance of the year. My son is in the middle in front in the dark shirt!

I'm considering keeping her and upgrading the bridge (Gotoh 201), pickups (DiMarzios) and tuners (Hipshot).
