Howdy -
Well, looks like my job will soon transfer me to Saudi Arabia. In a nutshell, that means I need to trade in my stable for a single 5 or 6 string thoroughbred. I really don't have the time or energy to try selling individually right now, so thought I'd throw out a hail mary to see if anyone might be interested in running a 6 for 1 trade deal. Here's what I've got:
1) 1983 Steinberger L-2: in excellent condition, still with the logo sticker. Has the boomerang strap harness, as well as original swivel plate and a replacement pop-in leg rest. Also has the allen screws for the headpiece so that you can use single-ball strings. Comes with original gigbag.
2) Hamer B12A: beautiful 12 string bass that I recently acquired and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE. Quick sound sample can be found here:

3) Lakland Skyline 55-02: One of the first run (came with the Y tuners), but I switched them out with Hipshot Ultralight Cloverleafs. Also added a tort pickguard. Comes in Gator softshell case.
4) Ibanez Roadstar II RB850: massive sounding rock bass from the 80s. Comes in gigbag.
5) Peavey G-Bass: my go-to bass in my current punk/rock band. Very Modulus-esque due to the graphite neck. Currently has a vinyl Frankenstein's monster sticker on it, easily removable. Comes in gigbag.
6) Houston brand Chinese Ovation acoustic/electric knockoff: electronics are ick, barely working. But a real fun bass to learn tunes with or hang around the campfire. No gig bag or case; would come in a well-packed box.
All together (well, the first 5 basses at least; just throwing in the Houston one as a bonus), trade value would be around $5500 (+/-). Anyone have a nice boutique 5 or 6 string that they would like to trade for a bunch of really nice basses?
Just throwing that out there
