WTT - Alembic Epic 4 Maple for Epic 4 not maple

Pretty simple. I'm looking to trade my Epic 4 with maple top for any epic in good condition with non-maple top.

My bass is in good condition. Has slight player wear. Nick in the headstock, but for a 17 year old bass is in great condition. Currently have nylon wound strings on it. Gives it a huge open sound.

If you are interested in this listing, it means you have an epic to trade so I really don't know what to say, as you know all the specs.

I'm looking for a dark wood top. Walnut, wenge or any of the rosewoods. Local VA trades would be great, but I'm willing to go with conus shipping.

I'm looking for an Epic 4. Would consider fivers or other lower end alembics. Looking for a 1-1 trade, or if you're trading out a real beater, maybe some money on your end. I'm not that picky on quality. I'd love to pick up a beater. If you got something you're willing to trade, shoot me a pm.

I'm in no hurry to make this trade. There's nothing wrong with the one I have, just not my cup of tea aesthetically. I don't expect a quick trade out of this, I'm playing the long game.

I'm not local anymore. I was a "Navy Brat". That was back in the 70's. (Class of '78)

And my Wife REALLY likes this bass. I'd consider trading otherwise.
