This is just a feeler for now, but I thought I'd see what might happen. I traded a mighty fine MTD635 (I had about 2600 invested in it throughout all my GAS-trading) to lowdownsound.com for this wonderful and brand new (NOS) Modulus Quantum 5. It has a bubinga top and a clear satin finish. Bartonlini 18volt EQ, OHSC.
I love the feel and playability of this bass, but I'm still craving that Sadowsky vibe (owned 3 now). If no one wants to part with an RV5, then I'll just hold on to the Q5 and drop in a Sadowsky preamp with VTC. I don't really care about the color, just that it has an alder body and rosewood board. I might also consider a 5string roscoe as well. NO OTHER TRADES CONSIDERED PLEASE!!!!!
