WTT Ken Smith BSR Elite

I would like to trade my Ken Smith Elite 6 string for another Ken Smith Bass. I am not really interested in anything else other than a Ken Smith bass that meets the following criteria:

BMT 5 or 6 string- Any woods

BT, BSRGN, Elite, any neck-through model with a Walnut or Ebony (much prefered) top 5 or 6 string- I may consider other dark woods.

I have another Smith with light wood so unless it is a BMT I probably will not be interested in maple unless it is something unusual.

I have some bolt on models so I'm not really interested in any either.

I got this strange desire for a Ken Smith bass with an ebony top after seeing them pop up here and on other sites recently. If my urge goes away or I don't get offers for what I am looking for I'll just keep my bass, I don't want to sell, so if you have something like what I want send me a PM and we can talk. I'll do my best to return all PMs and thank you in advance for your consideration. I'll post a pick for now but if you have something I can send more pics. Lastly, for the right instrument, I'm open to adding some $$.

Thanks again!

What year? (looks 1999 or newer?)

What core is that? Walnut or Mahogany? Headstock Matching or Black? Standard 18mm or 17mm spacing? 18v pre? (but I guess if I knew the year I would know that)...

Thanks for inquiring,

It is a 2001 and it has the 9v pre and matching headstock. The string spacing is 18mm and it is a WALNUT core. Here is a pic of the headstock.

Thanks for inquiring!

Wow, not a whole lot of what I'm looking for so I may just keep it. I'll give it a few more days.

I am closing the thread but, if you have a Smith bass like what I am looking for, send me a PM. If I still haven't found the tone I'm looking for we might be able to make a deal.
