FT/FS Pedulla Thunderbass ET5

Sign in to disble this ad
I wanna say I've owned the bass for a year and a half. Since then I've purchased a Pedulla Rapture 5 and a Ken Smith and Sonically and visually, this one is more similar to the Smith and I put EMGs into the Rapture for a Modern Gospel, heavy rock sound. Now I kind of want a Jazz style. The only thing I should disclose are things that the original owner disclosed to me. 1. One knob has been replaced with another- larger one. One can be ordered from Pedulla for 4 dollars. 2. one of the pictures shows a small crack that doesn't affect action or playability, but is visible. I've gigged this bass for dozens of gigs all across the state and whenever I had some downtime with no gigs, was going to send to Mike to touch up.

Edit:Open to any trades as long as 34" scale or outright sale for $1200 Attachment 130348

EXCUSE THE LAME ACTION SHOT DURING A CHARRO DAYS PARADE ( it actually really shows the bass in a good overcast light )

Here's a pic of the crack on the back of the neck. You can't really make it out in this one. Like I said, I've done dozens of gigs with her and found it does not affect playability.Attachment 130374

I'll try to snap some better pics later after soundcheck this morning.

As promised, a pic of the back of the neck. I was going to have it sent to mike lull to patch it up and maybe have it routed out for a couple of nordstrand big singles and nordstrand preamp but I think I may rather just get a jazz style 5er.

I owned this bass prior, it is a beast with a very very tight B string and is a steal at that price. You would never know that it had a repair job with a bit of touching up. Good luck with the sale.

Does this have the 17.5mm or 19.0mm string spacing? What is the surface wood, bubinga?
