WTT: Sadowsky NYC M5-24 w/big singles for alder(walnut)/rw MTD 535-24

Sign in to disble this ad
This Sadowsky is a backup and 2nd bass to my main lady, a beautiful alder/braz rw PJ5 with flats, and for my modern-sounding bass needs I think I want to try an MTD with a warmer wood combo.

This is the bass in question:

5138

Amazing bass. Very Smith-like slap tone but with a much more present low end and lowmid kick. Here's a link to the last owner's thread:

Sadowsky NYC 24 Fret 5 String Cocobolo on Mahogany Bass

NOTE: I am ONLY looking for MTD 535-24s with either Alder or Walnut bodies, and with RW fretboards. Been there done that with tulipwood/wenge, ash/wenge, and ash/maple. No other trades considered right now.

Also, I'm NOT looking to sell this bass just right off. IF I do I"ll start a new thread.

Thanks for looking!!!

Forgot to mention directly: bass was recently outfitted with Nordstrand Big Singles but I'll include the original Sadowsky Soaps in the trade.

Man that thing is gorgeous - too bad I don't have the MTD combo you're looking for.

Ok, would DEFINITELY consider an ash/rosewood bass. Key here being the rosewood board.
