Yamaha BB2004 (pre- Nathan East)/BB350F Fretless

Hi Everyone.

I have 2 basses to sell now:

1. Yamaha BB2004 - Black, 4 string, active bass w/p + J pups, nearly new in box (I did have it set up by a top place in NYC, though). Comes in original box with case candy, too. All the EQ possibilities you could ever need for stage and studio. Photos say it all. As you know, this is one of the most sought after basses. Some call it/know it as the protype for the Nathan East model. Wonderful neck and body ergonomics. Price is $1000 USD firm shipped/no trades (CONUS only shipping). Will be packed in additional outer box (there is no case). No returns.

2. Yamaha BB350F - Fretless model, late '80s/early '90s most likely. Great starter fretless, lined rosewood fingerboard w/p + j pickups. Missing toggle switch cap (.50 plastic thing), and has shallow holes drilled in back for mounting bracket for standup bass-like tripod (not included). Comes with simple nylon gig bag. Will pack very well. $175 USD firm shipped/no trades (CONUS only shipping). No returns.

What's going on here? People were hunting all over the place for a BB2004 forever (especially in black) and now....silence?

Also, a good cheap solid fretless and no takers? What's going on here?
