SOLD!! Here's a great sounding and playing Yamaha BB400 Bass-alder body with a Yamaha style 21 fret Jazz neck that has an ebony fretboard.
The pickup is the great P pickup that's on the BB2000, BB1200, and BB800's. This one is from a 1978 BB800. The trim ring is from a BB2000. It has Yamaha stock tuners and the Yamaha great sustaining heavy duty bridge.

The combination of the Alder and Ebony is classic. Very punchy and quiet.

SOLD!!for $195 plus shipping in order to fund other needs. Shipping to U.S. only.

I forgot to put in my posting that it's U.S. shipping only. I'm fixing it now.

They didn't. Someone made this one modeled after the Yamaha neck but put an ebony board on it and narrowed it to a J bass style profile. It hardly has any playing time on it because i just got around to putting it together.

+1 on a great series of Yamaha basses, with the custom ebony neck, that alone would cost a bunch by itself. Let me look at my finances..
