I got this from DR. Cheese in a trade a while back. Great bass! It has Sadowsky hum cancelling pickups in it and what a difference they make! They sound amazing and are super quiet with either PU solo-ed. 3 band Yamaha preamp with a midscoop switch (you will have to play around with it but gives a lot of cool tonal options from scooped slap sound to big dub bass tone). 34" scale, 19mm spacing (it may be a hair under. maybe 18.5mm. It measures just a smidge under 3/4"). Alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. For the bread I think Yamaha are the best basses out there. I would keep it but August is looking really slow and I have to move. Please no trades. I need the cash. Comes in a cheapie but new gig bag and will be well packed. Has one ding on the top front which I tried to catch in a photo and another similar one on the back. Other than that it's in great shape aside from normal scratches from slapping and some nicks in the headstock. $450 plus actual shipping via fedex.

If I weren't in the middle of so many domestic obligations, I would buy this bass back myself.

It has a very strong midrange focus that cuts through quite nicely in a dense mix.

Controls are Vol/Blend Bass/Mid/Treble. The switch controls a sweepable mid scoop. I'm not sure how many db it scoops it but when engaged the knob controls the frequency where the scoop is. When the switch is turned off the preamp operates as a 2 band preamp. It's actually a really cool concept. No soundclips but I'll try and put something together over the next 24 hours. |

This bass sounds great and has no issues. sadowsky PU's make it a bass that any pro would happily use if it was backlined at a Madison Square Garden gig. It sounds as good or better than the few American Fender 5 string J basses I've owned. |

BTW, whoever buys it at $400 plus shipping gets a fresh set of strings on it and a fret polish. This is a great bass.
