Plays great! Low action, great tone, light weight and great looks
4 band Audere preamp really helps the versatility of this naturally bright and resonant bass. A pleasure to play but I hardly play 5's so someone else needs to enjoy this one.

I installed the Audere 4 band preamp myself and it's a good fit for the bass. Top quality pots, everything works great, and when you plug it in the blue LED shines through where the trippy stock lights used to be. The Z switch is in the middle position and tucked away in the control cavity taped up so it can't short anything out in there.

$350.00 shipped CONUS. No trades please, I'm trying to cut down!

bump for a really killer bass with great tone. If you don't believe me, go to www.thecongressband.com and forward to "Kiss- Rosslyn Lunchtime Concert". Also, check out the Naughty Girl/Mary J track as well. The track is straight board, but it will give you an idea how the bass fits in the mix. I hope this is okay with the OP. If not, let me know and I can delete my post.

Thank you for the compliments. It is stock. The only thing I did was put on a set of Sadowsky Blue Nickel 40-125T strings. The B-strings sounds incredible on the bass.

These are a great deal for the money. It replaced my Sadowsky and while I do miss my Sadowsky a bit, the tone of this bass has made up for it.

I am really curious to hear how the Audere sounds with it. I have the 4 string version. Oh, and I am suprised to see this bass still here. This is a great deal.

Sounds close to stock but with more adjustability I guess. The Audere is pretty transparent =)
