Yamaha TRB1005 For Sale - Beautiful Bass!

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is my Yamaha TRB1005. I bought it new from Guitar Center. It is in excellent condition. The only finish flaws I can find are two very tiny nicks on the edge of the back side of the body, which I'm sure you would have trouble finding, and are impossible to photograph. Everything else is excellent. It is strung with D'Addario nickel XLs. I will ship it via FedEx Ground in a used but nice Kaces gig bag.

My ebay ID is stevenw1958, in case you'd like to check my feedback.

$579 via PayPal, shipped to a confirmed address in the continental US only. Thanks!

Awesome bass. If I was in need of another very high quality but affordable bass, this would be the one. I used to have the same thing in red and regret selling it.

Wow. I had no idea that Yamaha made basses with multiple wood grains. Nice looking bass...If it sounds half as good as it looks, I'd have to say this is a good deal.

I was going to buy this bass and I heard Steve's clip. Amazing sounding B string. A friend of mine knows a guy who has one and he encouraged me to get it. He says it is the "perfect" studio bass because you don't have to do anything but plug it in for it to sound good.

This bass just isn't my style, so I had to pass.

These basses are fantastic - I have 2 - a fretted and fretless - both 5'ers. I took the fretted to a studio in addition to my nice selection of fenders and the straight to the board sound of the yamaha was absoultely perfect. I used it for everything. the range of sounds you can achieve by varing the blend control made it great for a variety of styles.

bump for IMO a best buy bass and a fellow Hoosier!
