Yamaha TRB5 made in Japan.
This was Yamaha's top of the line when it was released and they are very fine and well made basses. Excellent sound and playability, versatile electronics, solid B string response.
This bass has a few body scratches (visible in pics) but is overall in very good condition, and is in excellent playing condition with D'Addario Prosteels and a comfortable setup. Comes with a gig bag. Will pack and ship carefully.

I don't really like five strings, but I've played his and its very comfortable and it does have a pretty good low B (not too floppy) It sounds awesome to boot and he uses it in Jazz, Funk, R&B, and Gospel with great success.
Free bump.

Thanks for the bump and kind words, yes I played on and produced that CD. A tribute to my home town, Philly, from Nashville, where I've lived for the last 19 years.

BK | That is a disc you should be very proud of. I too am a major major fan of soul/r&B (real bands) from that era. Much appreciated. Not to go too far off topic and get in trouble with the TB police what basses did you use for recording? You can PM me if you like.

Here is why I jumped on this bass! Used Japanese TRB basses are legitimate boutique tone on budget.
