I got this bass last year and love it, but I might let it go for 2 reasons, I don't play 6 string basses and I'm playing my R-Basses all the time.
Human Base (Bass?) The Base. Ash body, Bubinga top, Maple neck and Ebony board. Delano pickups and I'm sure the preamp is a 3 band Glock. 100% made in Germany, flawless construction and sounds incredible! It really doesn't get better than this....
Asking $2499 plus actual shipping or best reasonable offer, will trade for a 5 string bass of the same caliber.
Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions! Video Clip!!: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/580082...er_rose_royce/

| | Registered Schmoozer. | | | | | I can't afford this -- especially now -- but let me vent my curiosity:
Does the little "corner" affect playing comfort in any way (for better or worse)?
How's the thumb cutaway/bowl on the back feel?
How's it hang on a strap?
Do chicks dig it?
It looks... solid. Pretty top, too. |

This bass might look "weird" but I assure you, it's very ergonomic and looks killers (the old pics and justice thing applies here). I can rest my arm on the "corner" and it feels great, it balances perfectly and the back of the neck feels great!
Chicks will want to go home with you when they see you playing this beast, no kidding!
I'm working on a video/sound clip! This bass sounds thunderous. |

I would think the preamp would be Glockenklang as that is the normal setup on HB's. Glock pre and Delano pickups maybe?

The pickups are Delano, but I'm not sure about the preamp but it sounds great! Here's a pic: |

Cheers. Quote:

| | | | Very nice bass. Are you shure about the pickups being Delanos? Could be Häussels.
